Vukile Khumalo

I've got a few projects on the burner. I'm working on a history of rural transformation and the making of a post-apartheid rural citizen in kzn. I am also writing on the reconfiguration of the idea of a public sphere and public violence in KwaZulu-Natal, 1900 – 1910. I am chief editor of the Journal of Natal and Zulu history and I took over the seminar series from Keith Breckenridge in 2011. I teach the "History and Culture of KZN" and "Topics on African History". For more, please have a look at my staff profile.
